These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Pewbeam desktop application ("Pewbeam", "the App", "the Software") provided by Pewbeam Technologies Limited, trading as Pewbeam ("Pewbeam", "we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using Pewbeam, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.
Pewbeam is a desktop application that provides real-time Bible verse detection during sermons. The Software captures audio, transcribes speech, identifies scripture references, and displays matching Bible verses on screen via in-app preview, NDI, or HDMI output.
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to use Pewbeam. By using the Software, you represent that you meet this requirement.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use Pewbeam on devices you own or control, solely for your personal, organizational, or ministry use.

We offer refunds at our discretion. If you are unsatisfied with a paid plan, contact us within 14 days of your initial purchase for a full refund. Refund requests after 14 days are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
We may change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes apply at the start of your next billing cycle after the notice period.

Pewbeam integrates with the following third-party services. Your use of these services through Pewbeam is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies:
Online transcription is powered by Deepgram. Audio from your microphone is streamed to Deepgram's servers for real-time transcription. Deepgram does not store your audio data after processing.
Sermon note generation uses OpenAI's API. When you generate sermon notes, the transcript text is sent to OpenAI for processing. We use OpenAI's API tier which does not use your data for model training.
License activation and validation is handled through Keygen.sh. Device fingerprint and license key information is transmitted to Keygen's servers for verification.
